We will start our tour at 9:30 am in midtown Manhattan, 8th Avenue between 33rd and 34th Street (by Duane Reade) DON'T BE LATE! Come 15 minutes early to sign in. You will be greeted by your tour guide for the day. You will sign our liability waiver, and after departure a light breakfast will be served on board the coach.
This tour is the ultimate holiday experience. First we drive to Pennsylvania to the city of Bethlehem.
A guide in a period traditional Moravian dress will take you into the past and tell you the story of early Bethlehem which was deemed "Christmas City, USA.
View some of the many well maintained historical buildings and sites and learn about the unique religious heritage of the town under the guiding influence of its early Moravian founders.
We will then visit Christkindlmarkt, recognized as one of the top holiday markets in the world by the Travel and Leisure Magazine.
Two large heated tents with many aisles showcasing exquisite handmade works by the nation’s finest artisans, you will also find authentic German ornaments, nutcrackers, and other holiday collectibles while you listen to the heart-warming sounds of live Christmas music.
We will enjoy lunch with non alcoholic beverages included at a local restaurant.
After lunch we will drive to a true Christmas fairytale land, Christmas Village. A virtual wonderland of more than half a million lights. Christmas Village was recently named Best Outdoor Christmas Display in the World by Display World magazine. Christmas Village started in 1948 on a farm by William Koziar. Christmas Village also feature a Country Kitchen bake shop, Santa's Toy Shoppe, a huge Toy Train Display, a Refreshment Barn, hundreds of cute hand painted plywood cartoon characters and holiday music is playing everywhere.
Adding specially to the magnificent beauty of this place is the spectacular reflection of those thousands and thousands of lights in a lake situated directly in front of the main house. This place will definitely make any soul old or young in a holiday spirit.
We will drive back to NYC.
