Tour 11 - Waterfallmania and Water Gap Trolley

We will start our tour at 7:00 am in midtown Manhattan, 8th Avenue between 33rd and 34th Street (by the Duane Reade) DON'T BE LATE! Come 15 minutes early.

You will be greeted by your tour guide for the day. You will sign our liability waiver, and after departure a light breakfast will be served on board the coach.

We will start the day driving to the Delaware Water Gap; you will enjoy a fully narrated historic sightseeing tour of the local area via an authentically styled trolley.

Relax while a guide takes you back thru history and the many points of interest. Learn about the Native Americans and the early settlers of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

Next we will continue driving in Pennsylvania to Ricketts Glen State Park, a National Natural Landmark. This park is very special by having so many spectacular waterfalls concentrated on a relative small area. This is a true paradise for any waterfall enthusiast.

We will hike to a total of 21 beautiful waterfalls ranging in heights from 11-feet to 94-feet.

You will get very close to all the waterfalls because the trail runs parallel by the streams as they run down 2 major gorges. You can choose to hike with one of our guides or you can do it on you own.

The hike is approximately 4 hours long and you should be in a fairly good physical condition. Some of the trail sections are very steep and can be very slippery/wet as well.

We will drive back to NYC.
Arrival back to NYC at approximately 7:30pm.
