Christmas in North Jersey
Tour 43 Details

 

If you joined our New Jersey Christmas tour in 2019, this tour is totally different, the German Christmas market is at a new location, and we will see other Christmas Lights Displays in a different area. The only thing that is the same is the stop at Eagle Rock.

We will start our tour at 11:30 am in midtown Manhattan, 8th Avenue between 33rd and 34th Street (by Duane Reade) DON'T BE LATE! Come 15 minutes early to sign in.

You will be greeted by your tour guide for the day. You will sign our liability waiver, and after departure a light breakfast will be served on board the van.

 

On the way to Lake Mohawk, we will visit the Eagle Rock Reservation, which includes the Essex County 911 Memorial. The park is an Essex County forest reserve and recreational park

 

Here you will enjoy a majestic viewpoint where you can see the New York City sky line from the George Washington Bridge to the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. (If the weather is clear)

 

German Christmas Market
Next we will visit the annual German Christmas market, this year (2021) at Sussex County Fairgrounds (Previous at Lake Mohawk). This is the largest Christmas Market in New Jersey.

 

You will find many vendors selling crafts, food and Christmas items while listening to choirs and entertainers getting you into the Christmas spirit.

 

 

 

 

After visiting the Christmas market we will drive to a restaurant to eat linner (Late lunch/early dinner)

 

 

After we have eaten we will drive around and experience some of the most spectacular Christmas lights displays that North New Jersey has to offer. 

 

 

Some of the light displays are made out of several hundred thousands of lights.

 

We will drive back to NYC.

Arrival back to NYC at approximately  9:30 - 10 pm.

 

WHAT TO BRING AND WEAR FOR THE TOUR:

ID: Please bring valid government issued identification. (Adults only)

CLOTHES: According to the weather. We will be outside most of the time, so make sure to bundle up and dress in layers to stay warm.

CAMERA/PHONE: Highly recommended. You will experience beautiful Christmas Lights Displays.

CASH: Although our tour is classified as an "all inclusive". It is advisable to bring some cash for souvenirs, snacks and gratuities for the guide which is left to your discretion.
